Overview |
Buckeye XPress is part of TransCanada’s ongoing Modernization Program to replace aging infrastructure, upgrade natural gas compression systems and increase pipeline reliability. This pipeline has been slated for modernization because it includes a vital natural gas supply line for Ohio.
The proposed project includes replacing approximately 64 miles (103 km) of its existing pipeline with safer, more reliable, 36-inch-diameter coated pipe. Buckeye XPress is expected to be placed in-service for late 2020.
