Sundre Crossover Project

Natural Gas Icon

Overview

We’re pleased to announce that the Sundre Crossover Pipeline is in service! The 21 km (13 mile) pipeline will increase capacity on TransCanada’s NGTL System for the transportation of natural gas to growing markets in North America.

Over the course of construction, the Project employed nearly 500 employees and contractors who contributed over approximately 160,000 dedicated hours to complete the project safely and on schedule. In addition, over $4 million was spent in the town of Sundre and surrounding areas during construction.

Thank you to the community of Sundre, all our stakeholders and the hundreds of workers for their patience, hard work and dedication to this project. We are grateful to everyone who played a role in its success!
