Tri-County Bare Steel Replacement Project

Natural Gas Icon

Overview

Throughout North America, bare steel pipelines were widely installed for transmitting natural gas until the 1970s. Our $138 million replacement program will see this outdated technology replaced with corrosion resistant materials on lines in Washington, Greene and Allegheny counties, Pennsylvania.

This important project will not only improve the safety, reliability and integrity of our pipelines, it will bring well-paying construction jobs and additional tax revenues that can be used for schools, hospitals, roads and more throughout the region.
