Tuscarora Gas Transmission System

Natural Gas Icon

Overview

Stretching 305 miles (491 km) from Oregon across California and into Nevada, the Tuscarora pipeline delivers natural gas from the Western Canada Sedimentary Supply, the Rocky Mountains and US basins to communities in California and Nevada. A model pipeline system, the Tuscarora claims 100 percent accident free status. Since it opened in 1995, no employee has ever been injured while working on the pipeline – and we’re working hard to keep it that way.

TransCanada operates Tuscarora Gas Transmission System and effectively owns 26.8 percent of the pipeline through our interest in TC PipeLines, LP.
