Overview |
The Tamazunchale Pipeline is a 370 km (230 miles) natural gas pipeline, comprised of two segments: Naranjos – El Sauz (130 km) and Tamazunchale - El Sauz, better known as the Tamazunchale Extension (240 km). The pipeline serves communities on the East Coast of Mexico and Central Mexico. This important piece of infrastructure helps Mexico meet growing demand for energy, and supports the country’s initiatives to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, by broadening access to natural gas and reducing reliance on heavy oil.
